The Women’s Center at UMBC advances gender equity from an intersectional feminist perspective through co-curricular programming, support services, and advocacy for marginalized individuals and communities. We prioritize critical social justice as our community value, with a deliberate focus on women, gender, anti-racism, and feminism.

The Women’s Center has the following facilities available for anyone who needs to use them. All are welcome!
Our front office area includes the reception desk, a quiet study area for students, the meditation/lactation room, the director’s office, and other resources and information available for community members.
Most of our events and group meetings are hosted in the lounge space. When it’s not reserved for programs, the space is open for community members to study, work on the computer, eat lunch, or just relax!
